ViewSonic CDE6502 Control Spec

Summary

ViewSonic CDE6502 large-format commercial display supporting RS-232 and TCP/IP control. Protocol uses a 9-byte ASCII packet: [Len=0x38][ID_hi][ID_lo][Type][Cmd][v1][v2][v3][CR=0x0D]. Set command type is s (0x73), Get is g (0x67), Get reply is r (0x72), Set ack is + (0x2B valid) / - (0x2D invalid). Broadcast ID 99 applies to all displays (only ID#1 replies). Auto-reply events fire on power, input, brightness, backlight, volume, and mute changes.
