Summary

The Chazy Control is a Turtle AV-over-IP controller that manages a fleet of TX (encoder) and RX (decoder) endpoints plus video walls and Dante audio devices. Control is exposed as a line-oriented ASCII API accessible over TELNET (TCP port 23) or SSH; an equivalent console is available on the rear-panel serial port at 57600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit.

Notes

  • The controller operates a line-oriented ASCII CLI. Each command is a token sequence; parameter values use spaces (no = or quoting). Commands return either a [SUCCESS]... / [ERROR]... line for setters, or a multi-line block (delimited by ====...) for status queries.
  • Network parameter changes on the controller (LAN1/LAN2 DHCP/IP/gateway/mask) and on each RX/TX (STATIC IP/MASK/GATEWAY/IPMODE) do NOT take effect immediately: the source explicitly says you must follow up with SET NETWORK REBOOT (controller) or SET DEC/ENC xx NETWORK REBOOT (endpoints).
