Notes

Protocol: SICP V2.03 binary protocol over RS-232C or TCP/IP. Packet format: [MsgSize][Control][Group][Data0][...DataN][Checksum]. Checksum = XOR of all bytes except checksum. MsgSize range: 3-40 (0x03-0x28). Control byte: bits 7-0 = Monitor ID (1-255), broadcast ID=0 (no ACK expected). Group byte optional — if group=0 no ACK sent; if group!=0 ACK sent only to individual monitor.

TCP/IP: Port 5000 stated as default for all Philips displays. Ethernet and RS-232 share the same command set.
