JBL SDP-5 Series Control Spec

Summary

JBL SDP-5 Series AV surround processor controlled via RS232 or IP (TCP port 50000) using a binary byte-framed protocol. Covers power/display/tuner queries, volume and EQ control, input/zone/HDMI configuration menus, RC5 IR simulation, and AMX Duet DDDP discovery. Source changelog also applies document to SDR-38/SDP-58 and references SDP-55 in examples.
