Timing and Connection Constraints
- Minimum 50ms interval between messages (both directions)
- Receiver responds within 50ms; if no response, communication has failed
- TCP: only one client connection at a time
- TCP: connection must be held continuously to receive unsolicited event notifications
- FF/REW over Net-Tune: commands must be sent continuously with no more than 100ms between codes
Numeric Parameter Encoding
Volume levels (MVL, ZVL, VL3, VL4) and sleep timer (SLP) use uppercase hexadecimal representation. For example, volume level 50 decimal = hex "32", sent as !1MVL32.
