HiSense 75U67KUA RS-232 / IP control commands

Summary

Spec covers RS-232 (DB9, 9600/8N1, ASCII) and discrete IR (NEC-format, 04FB manufacturer code) control for the Hisense Prosumer TV line. The 75U67KUA shares the Prosumer protocol family documented in the source; per the manual, individual models may not implement every command — verify against the model User Manual. RS-232 must be enabled in the Custom Install menu (Quick Settings + "7 3 1 0" → Enable).

Frame format (ASCII mode, 14 bytes): S + client_id(3 hex) + COMMAND(4) + DATA(4) + checksum(1) + Cr. client_id is ALL for broadcast or last 3 bytes of MAC. Checksum is the 8-bit two's-complement such that the sum of all bytes (including checksum) equals zero. Termination is 0x0D. Query: Q replaces S, DATA is ????. Acknowledgement: [client_id]:OKAY[DATA][checksum]\r (or EROR, WAIT). Protocol is case-sensitive.

Notes

RS-232 port must be enabled in TV menu: Quick Settings → enter "7 3 1 0" on remote → Custom Install → Custom Installation = Enable. "Power On Command" must also be set to Enable to allow serial control while TV is in standby.
All serial commands are case-sensitive. Frame format: S (or Q) + 3-byte client ID + 4-byte command + 4-byte data + 1-byte checksum + 0x0D. Checksum is the 8-bit value such that the sum of all 14 bytes (including checksum) equals zero. Client ID is ALL (broadcast) or the last 3 hex digits of the TV's MAC address.
Two acknowledgement patterns are shown in source: WAIT then OKAY for power-on (e.g. POWRON takes longer). The TV may also return EROR on protocol violations.
